Purpose of the project:

On the basis of an existing former airport building, we had to develop a boutique-scale international airport project with two construction phases.

Project solution:

In preparation for the design, we considered several scenarios of how the terminal layout should be approached, based on the regulations of the Ministry of Civil Aviation of the Russian Federation and in accordance with international IATA requirements.

The main goal was to avoid the stressful traditional airport atmosphere and bring a boutique feel to the project, reminiscent of the Sky room.

Because of the planned reconstruction of the old airport before the start of the design works, we carried out a technical survey of the supporting structures, engineering systems and equipment of Terminal B.
