INFORMATION SCIENTIFIC-EDUCATIONAL COMPLEX

Purpose of the project: 

To design a scientific and educational complex for students and teachers of Admiral  Nevelsky Marine State University with an area of 16 000 m².

The project involves the ability to place high-tech digital equipment, simulators for MSU students and laboratory facilities in the complex.

The main purpose of the complex is to digitize educational and scientific activities of the University, as well as to create a platform for the introduction of innovative solutions in a number of areas of maritime transport in the Russian Far East.

DESIGN SOLUTION:

We designed a small "campus" within one building. 

It provides more than 50 rooms for classrooms and laboratories, equipped with multimedia and simulators.

The new classrooms will free up some of the University's academic and residential buildings, which were fully converted into dormitories due to a shortage of space for students. More than 700 cadets and students will be able to move into the empty rooms.

The complex will have a separate block with departments, laboratories and simulators of the electro-mechanical faculty, which trains the specialists demanded by the shelf and Arctic exploration projects.

The project includes a large Library block with computer reading rooms, book collection control systems, book scanners, printer centers and information management systems.

All classrooms of the Complex are provided with multimedia equipment, video recording and video conferencing systems. Full wireless network coverage with broadband access to digital resources in the corporate cloud is planned in the building. 

The building of the Complex is equipped with integrated security, access control and fire extinguishing systems. They are fully integrated with information systems of production activity management.

PROJECT FEATURES:

The "core" of the Complex is the Data Center (Data Processing Center), for which we have provided a number of server rooms with energy-efficient air conditioning systems, uninterruptible power supply systems based on an autonomous generating unit.

Access to information resources and services of the industry resource information center will be carried out through the switching core of the corporate ultra-high-speed network.

Data center will be a platform for processing data on technological processes of maritime transport of the Russian Federation. Data from ship registers, port registers, data on personnel, their qualifications and competencies, data on university graduates, education documents and working diplomas will all be consolidated in a single data center and will be delivered to all university community.
