PROJECT FEATURES

It’s a training complex with unique scope of opportunities It’s first Russian training complex with the unique scope of opportunities for cadets. One of the most important purpose of this object - providing targeted training for specialists, who are going to work in Arctic conditions.

The training center creates conditions close to the staying of cadets on a real ship in the open sea. The perimeter of the simulator units is designed to accommodate a training "crew" of up to 40 people at a time. The interior of the cabins fully corresponds to a real ship's cabin.

This complex consists of huge amount of electronic imitators: engine rooms, marine power plants, refrigerators.

One of the floors is equipped with the bridges that replicates the bridges of a real ship. Visualization of the environment allows you to immerse yourself in the maritime reality and even feel the rocking.

One more unique feature of the building is a pool complex. There are two pools:

  • Arctic pool for practicing the survival skills, water temperature in this pool is no higher than 4-5 degrees

  • Main pool 25х30m, with simulated storm conditions and time of day,  for practicing all the necessary skills for working with rescue equipment.

Using these pools cadets could simulate the evacuation of people from the cockpit of a helicopter that has fallen into the water. It is relevant for specialists, who are servicing offshore drilling rigs.

Cadets will be able to practice working in freezing seas, to prepare for transportation of hydrocarbons and to interact with port and oil and gas terminals.
